Dr. Majebe is the co-founder of Daoist Traditions, a college of Classical Chinese Medicine located in Asheville, North Carolina, and a leader of Chinese Medicine education in the United States. Dr. Majebe brings a spiritual perspective to the art of Chinese Medicine. In her family practice at the Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic on the campus, Dr. Majebe treats a variety of health issues, from children with Autism diagnoses, to adults with complex health challenges.

In 1985, after receiving a Masters of Science degree from the American College of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dr. Majebe opened the Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic in Asheville, N.C. In 1997, she committed to numerous internships in prestigious hospitals in both China and South Korea. In 1989, after four years of practicing medicine in Asheville and completing a doctoral program at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Majebe was awarded a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine, (O.M.D.). She was the first chair of the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB), and was instrumental in drafting rules and regulations for acupuncture licensure in North Carolina. Dr. Majebe has been a champion of Chinese Medicine over the years and has had a profound influence on the accessibility of acupuncture for patients in N.C.
