Renewing life's journey
The poetics of saying yes to life. The inner smile of love, harmony, and beauty. A Sufi contemplative perspective on life’s sacred journey.
Born and raised in Los Angeles to Mexican Parents where he worked for the Catholic Church and in the field of design has informed much of his art. He is a Death Literacy educator, senior retreat guide, and Death Doula/Hospice volunteer, and artist, Saïd trained with the late Sufi master Pir Vilayat Khan. As an artist (image maker) he uses prayerful iconic art or as he likes to refer as Altared States for living spaces as a catalyst for inner awakening and healing. An art form that combines the visual language of abstraction and mixed media with collage and the elements to craft contemporary religious works /contemplative art forms for creating sacred spaces and videos.
The inner practices of the contemplative / Sufi mysticism paths which is an embodiment of love, harmony, and beauty can be experienced in his Nadazul Chapel Gallery in Asheville’s River Arts district.
See nadazul.org and thirdmessenger.com and journey into creative intelligence that is the core of his service.
