Moving from Success to Mastery

This is a discussion about the essential elements of growth. Personal deconstruction and offering ourselves the opportunity to grow. We seek to grow in order to experience a more comprehensive understanding of our purpose. In this talk we can explore together the pre-emptive work we do.

Part One: Listening and Responding
Part Two: Effort to Effortless
Part Three: One Happy Day

About

Patty Young, Medicine Woman, Artist, Horse Trainer

It is a daunting task to define oneself in the biography section. My story can be told in winding word paths that lead in and out of the most amazing places. I value and hold dear the lessons harvested from the more excruciating episodes. Who I have been as a Minister, a Teacher, an Artist , etc. has given me understanding of myself and how may I serve. It is a blessing that along my life road many Teachers arrived each according to our Divine Contract and helped me not become stuck in one place, one belief or one medium. I have listened to the best advice I have ever been given “keep going Patty”. Sometimes, more reluctant than other times, I do indeed keep going.

On my journey road I very much enjoy taking others with me. Whether it is to discover a never before seen awesome thing up on the mountain or to uncover a creative gift that just needed the proper environment to come to life. It is a beautiful fun day to look around at a gathering and see faces of all ages and all Nations each supporting one another in the doing of the day.It is an honor to work with people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives and while I do not have all the answers, I do know a place of peace, a place of infinite wisdom, where the brilliant mind of God will meet you everytime all the time and that place is the barn. The barn with the horses and barn dogs offers us all a place of timeless empathy. I am convinced a horse's shoulder is the sweetest place to lay one's head during trials and times of hopelessness. I believe when you walk with animals on medicine trails you heal in many ways.

Living here next to the Dupont State forest I am blessed with many miles of trails to explore and I look forward to sharing my experiences.
